MJBizCon is the ultimate stage for cannabis business leaders, with over 35,000 attendees, 1,400 exhibitors, and 320,000 square feet of exhibits. For Calyx Containers, it wasn’t just about showing up—it was about standing out. The challenge? Highlight their expertise in cannabis packaging while capturing leads and showcasing their creative prowess in a crowded market.
As Director of Creative Services, I led the charge, steering the creative team to deliver standout trade show collateral, designing custom promotional labels, and directing Calyx’s award-winning entries for the MJBizCon Official Merchandise contest.
Through bold, vintage Las Vegas-inspired designs, we created a unified visual experience that celebrated cannabis culture with flair.
From hand-drawn elements to a range of design styles—art nouveau, craft, tech wellness, and psychedelia—we made sure Calyx’s creativity shined on every container, label, and giveaway.
And yes, we even nailed the MJBizCon swag game with both the winning and runner-up designs for official merchandise.
